Russia is the biggest country in the world. It is 6,592,800 square miles and bordered by fourteen countries around it including Norway,Finland,Estonia,Latvia,Lithuania,
Poland,Belarus,Ukraine,Georgia,
Azerbaijan,Kazakhstan,China,Mongolia and North Korea.
Russia have been to 6 summer Olympic Games 1996 to 2016 and have been to 6 winter Olympic Games 1994 to 2014. Russia won 24 gold medals,25 silver medals and 33 bronze medals last summer Olympic Games. They won 13 gold,11 silver and 9 bronze for the last Winter Olympic Games.
The flag of Russia is tricolour with three equal horizontal stripes of white,blue and red. The Russian flag was adopted on 11th of December 1993.
The environmental issue in Russia is deforestation. Deforestation in Russia is occurring at about 2 million hectares per year.
