earthquake recount

At midnight on Monday morning there was an earthquake. It was in hanmer springs down south where it first started. I live in Palmerston North in the north island. The magnitude was 7.5 in hanmer springs when it got to Palmerston North it was its magnitude was 6.5.

When the earthquake hit my house my bed was shaking side to side,and it woke me up. I screamed out to my mum she said it was an earthquake. “Get under the doorway in your room”.she yelled. My brother and I quickly ran to our bedroom doorway where our mum and stepdad was. It seemed like it went on for ages. But it was two earthquakes at once because the big earthquake caused another one to happen at the same time. Finally it stopped.

I'm terrified of earthquakes so afterwards i up for another hour then i went to bed. In that hour i just layed in bed. But it was really spooky because it was so quiet afterwards outside. After that big earthquake there has been over one thousand aftershocks. On monday afternoon i was at school and we had a big 6.6 magnitude aftershock. The lights in the classroom were swing hardout side to side. It happened during story time My teacher who was reading the book was Miss Gordon. Miss Gordon yelled out earthquake. The whole class got under the tables. We did drop, cover, hold. I was very scared and i started crying and getting upset. Luckily all my friends were taking care of me. Then my other teacher Mr Robertson took me outside to calm me down. He told me to go get some water and come back inside.

It has now been two days since the earthquake. But the whole country is still having aftershocks.

My new cap gun

 On the 8/11/16 in the morning I was bored and I still had half an hour left before we left to school. So I went and grabbed some gun powder and the gun and went outside to find something to shoot.
My neighbors had their cows across the road from my house. So I went to my gate and loaded my gun and aimed.

I shot the first bullet then another bang boom!! I keep shooting then all of a sudden. I put my face really close to the gun, and all of a sudden I pulled the trigger and smoke went into my mouth I lost my balance,then I acidently pulled the trigger again I flew backwards onto my back.

Then I dropped my gun,and it started throughing Sparks and smoke out then I heard a bang then it stopped. I thought it was broken or about to explod so I left it for a bit. Now it is back working but I will never put my face to close ever again.

what marbles are and how to play. Marbles are a game the college street normal school kids play to have fun on the quad two weeks each year.

There are a variety of the rules about marbles. First the number one rule always wear shoes and a hat. Also you need to play fare. Year one and two’s play friendsies and years three and up play keepsies.

How to play you roll a cat'seye for cat'seye and genies. You roll genies for a bulldog. Bulldog for a queen and a titanic,titanic and queen for a moon. You can set out or you can roll for the marbles. 

When you roll for a marble no matter what you get into poison to do the splits but not that far put the marble in front of your eyes ame and roll.
