Playing kaus

Every second day they bring out a game called kaus. It's when you put up five blocks at each end and there is six sticks you each get three each. You chooses whoever starts. Then the person that starts will through the first stick and if they hit the block they get a point. Once you have knocked them all down you have to hit the King it is really and tall. If you miss the King and then you put one back up.If you knock down the block that got put up you go for the King again if you get it you win but if you miss it again you have to put two blocks.

Going to Fiji

 On Saturday the 21st I am going to go to Fiji.I will get up at four o'clock in the morning.We have to be at the airport by five o'clock and our flight leaves at quarter to seven in the morning.Every year my family goes to Fiji for atleast two weeks.We stay at a hotel called the Wyndham it is one of the flashest.We do all sorts of stuff like scobber diving going to the inflatable waterpark, swim play ping pong and volleyball.My most favourite thing to do is swim with everyone.Everything in Fiji is made of flax and bush. Like umbrella and and the seats.

The kids pool in Fiji is almost twice the size of a rugby field and in some places it is really shallow another place is 1.4 and a big space is 1.7. With my snorcal swim from one end to the other end it takes me about 10 minutes. Over the top of the pool is two bridges and a swim up bar. The other day I  had a coke and a cocktail called the fire engine. In the fire engine there is pineapple juice lemonade and raspberry also they stick a cherry and orange on the side of the cup with an umbrella to make look tropical.

Traditional teaching style

On Tuesday 10th of May the class was locked until ten too nine.The tables were in rows and there was name tags on the desks.The name tags were your full last name and the first letter of your first name and you had to sit boy girl boy girl.The teachers were dressed in formal.I thought that it was a special day.Just before we went into the class all the boys tucked in.Half way through the day Mr Robertson started walking around with a baseball bat.

The subjects were education,dictation,dictionary skills,maths and handwriting.You also weren't aloud to smile talk or look at anyone while doing work.When you ate, Mr Robertson would say bite chew bite chew.Then for play time we did marching for half the time and then the teachers put us in to groups and we played air tennis,air netball,walking tag,passing a ball,line tag and rolling a hula hoop to each other.

Sports Rotation

Every Tuesday afternoon we do sports rotation for seniors.My favourite sport is badminton because I play under13 badminton for Manawatu.Badminton is a physical and mental sport.Before we start the session we have to do a warm up.We do sidesteps,shasay,jogging and running backwards.



To be a coach you had to fill in a application form.You had to write why you want to be a coach and why what a good coach needs and what sport you want to coach.i put in badminton so I could improve my skills at the Same time as coaching others.One day at assembly they called out who will be a sports coach and I was one of them.

what my favourite thing that I did In the holiday's

In the holidays my Nanna brought my brother and I the new star wars movie. I couldn't wait to watch It. Three days later I  watched It. It was amazing! Now my brother and I fight with our fake light sabers all the time my brother says he has to win by chopping my legs off and then stabing me. Then I get back up and keep fighting him.My brother goes flying back onto the couch when I push him and take his light sabrer off him.After a while my brother and I get tiered so we stop for a break.Then the next day we fight all over again.Then we watched it all over it wos'nt as good since I already watched it.
