When we got to the village. They had placed heaps of mats on the ground. We had to take our shoes off and sit on a the mat. Then everyone plus the kids had to have some kava. Kava tastes really bitter and like muddy water. Every time you had a cup of kava you have to clap three times and say Bula before you drink it.After that we gave them some snorkels, sixteen bags of stationary and three rugby balls. Then us kids played touch for an our and a half and then just were being silly and passing the ball around. One of the oldest took us for a walk through the village there was about fifty stray dogs and twenty stray chickens with two little chicks we weren't aloud to go the whole way because they are aggressive because of the theifs. Then we did the Fijian haka to say goodbye and then got in the van and went back to our resort.

Our trip to a school and a village
At one o'clock in the afternoon my family caught a van to a school called St Mary's Catholic school. The school ages went from five year olds to fourteen year olds. There are about 735 kids. The class I went into was filled of eleven to twelve year olds there are eighteen boys and twenty three girls which means there are about fourty kids in the class.Once we walked into the class we all stood up at the front of the class. The wallpaper was made of brown paper. There was only a black board and desks in the class. They had to wear a uniform. Then they sang a song and then we sang the national anthem. Then they gave us all a necklaces made of shell and fishing line. Then I told them a little about our school my class and how I learn in my class. Afterwards we handed out some little goody bags and three rugby balls. Then they had prepared a little snack and juice so we had a drink and some fruit, take some photos and talk to them. Then they prayed. Said goodbye and thank you to the teacher. At the very end of school everyday they have a assembly. Then we went back to the front of the school and caught a van to a village.
